Car-Boat


I think what killed this 1956 amphibious flying car was the need to radically restructure suburban garages.

Either that, or the need for three different licenses to legally operate the darned thing. (OL/pilot's/smallcraft.)

And oh yes, what happens when you get rear-ended by a '49 Hudson?

Corrosion might be an issue. Not so much salt water eating holes in the body panels, as weakening the bits that hold the wings on.
