Gravity: It's not just a good idea, it's the law. |
Yanko Design (The DREADCO of the design world) comes to the aid of law enforcement with the
NR-02; a robotic peace officer that combines non-lethal weaponry with a complete inability to grasp the basic laws of physics.

ED-209 and the Daleks are deeply resentful. NR-02 doesn't have to walk, and can handle stairs.
Rover from The Village was unavailable for comment.
Seriously, I thought I had way too much time on my hands. Where can I go to get paid for imagining things that contravene the laws of physics? Do I need a specific Ph.D, or will my previous college time count?
Actually, I suspect they got the idea from old pulp SF magazines. Stuff like this used to crop up quite frequently back in the 1920s and '30s. "Armageddon 2419 A.D." and "Airlords of Han" by Philip Francis Nowlan come rather forcibly to mind.
