Red design

Hang on, I had one of these back at Oxford.
Popular Science looks at some of the dafter examples of Soviet design.

Well, on the plus side a Zaporzhets was more reliable than a Moskvich.

Then again, so is a Chevy Vega, in present-day (i.e. almost forty-year-old) condition.

The major thing the Mosk accomplished was to make the Lada and Yugo look like something vaguely resembling real automobiles.

As for that cassette player, it looks like it should say "Barbie" (TM) on the front.

I believe that the Moskvich was the lowest-end automobile in the USSR. Google "moskvich racing", and you'll get videos. Because this is the Internet. There are delays between the starting gun and when the first car starts moving, and I suspect that the winner is determined by some formula that combines arrival time with how much of the original mass makes it over the finish line.

"Zapor" means intestinal constipation. As in, you need to eat more fiber. I did not know that this was the nickname of the Zaporozhetz.
