I was looking at the pic of the interior and couldn't help but think it was borrowed a couple of years later for Columbia's presentation of "The Silencers". Matt Helm's station wagon was a Mercury on the outside, but it was sure a lot like this thing on the inside. I don't suppose the real show car had a bar behind the driver's seat though. At least that now explains why Matt's car had one high back and one low back seat up front.
I was going by the pic of the full interior at the link, if Columbia didn't lift it entirely for the Silencers, then the people at Ford that provided the wagon were the same ones that designed this thing.
I remember what you are talking about, that little crosshair gizmo on the dash of the DB4 was pretty similar. One of my favorite cars of the 60s, but from a movie standpoint, I still give points to Matt Helm's cars for being cooler.
Don't think there was a bar full of Ballantine in the Aston Martin

I thought it looked like the transponder tracker used in the motion picture 'Goldfinger'.
