Wild Bear Continues to Prowl Bavaria: Police Baffled

A wild brown bear, the first seen in Germany since 1835, continues to roam the countryside. How? Perhaps this excerpt from the Telegraph contains a clue:

Germany's only wild brown bear gave hunters the slip yesterday when it wandered into a lakeside resort in Bavaria and sat down in front of a police station before disappearing into the woods. (emphasis added)
A bit of advice to the Bavarian police on capturing this wily bear: Try opening the blinds.
