Always suprising, The Advocate speculates about whether Superman is (all together now!) gay. This sort of exercise was wearisome when they were making jokes about Batman and Robin back in the '40s and it has not improved with age; not because of what such speculation claims, but rather because it's always a one-way street-- and a very predictable road at that.
Now, if someone puts out a biography claiming that Noel Coward's persona was a sham to cover up a robust heterosexual life, then I'll start paying attention.
