The inventor of the Kalashnikov assault rifle, who is coincidentally named Mikhail Kalashnikov, regrets his creation, which has become the weapon of choice of terrorists and gangsters. One would think that it also helped enslave a sixth of the world under Communism would be a sore point as well.
Mr. Kalashnikov is in good company, as he isn't the only man to regret his demonic invention, but one wonders which is the greater horror.
