Beat the retreat

Mr Cameron has no idea what this is for.
From the Guardian
Britain is to abandon its warship patrols of the Caribbean for the first time since the second world war because of the navy's funding crisis, the Guardian has learned.
Mr David Cameron deserves to be flogged through the fleet for this.  However, considering what the little git has done to the fleet he probably wouldn't suffer anything worse than a paper cut.

Well, there will certainly be some door-slamming in Medallin' tonight. Not to mention enough "happy fire" in Juarez' to double the nightly death rate there.

One of the two real cures for drugs is, of course, to make it too expensive to traffic in them. You do that the way you prosecute any other "guerre de' course"- by taking out the pipeline.

That is, if you care about the consequences of not doing so. Mr. Cameron apparently either does not, or thinks they are irrelevant.

I look for The One to follow his lead soon, for an entirely different reason. Namely, that he doesn't see anything wrong with people doing drugs. It's a "lifestyle choice", in his world, you know.

The other cure, BTW, is letting the drug addicts use all the drugs they want in the hope that they do themselves in. The problem there is the collateral damage they do enroute to their appointment in Samarra.

cheers (sort of)
