Stunning that he would ignore the wishes not just of his president, but of his constituents and the country.Since when have the "wishes" of the president ever counted for anything with Congress? There are some pretty nasty possibilites coming to light about Mr Obama's ideology and I sincerely want to be wrong about what they are.

Birds of a feather?
The word "fascist" has started to be mentioned in connection with Mr Barack Hussein Obama–and I don't mean the black helicopter, Freemasons-fearing fringe types. And I hate to admit it, but it's becoming harder to dismiss the idea that the label couldn't possibly fit. It's bad enough when The One sides with the likes of Ortega, Chavez, and the ghost of Castro in demanding that a would-be dictator be reinstated while he soft steps around Iran for fear of "meddling", but when he and his administration comment on the opposition of a Congressman with the words,

My latest evaluation is, Chicago politician. City politics tend to be corrupt, and Chicago is a notoriously bad instance. Ain't nothin' good about "Chicago-style" except the pizza.
Moving the census to the control of the White House is troubling. Agree or disagree with 'em, but the last time a president tried to change the rules this badly may have been Roosevelt trying to stuff the Supreme Court.
And here I am, second-guessing my own comment. Maybe Husseinovich is simply voting "present" as usual. State Department is filled with career bureaucrats, who have job security if they're experts in a given dictator, but only as long as he's in power. Their interests then, are for things to not change in unpredictable ways. And third-world thugs are nothing if not predictable---hairy mustache, sunglasses, chest full of medals and maybe a red commie flag, and there ya go. This would explain how BHO let the Navy turn those pirates into ex-pirates a few weeks ago, and recently, stare down Kim in North Korea: vote "present", rubber-stamp, take credit.
So I guess whatever else is the case, Husseinovich is a cipher. According to one definition or the other. Or maybe both.
Man, this is why I like Ephemeral Isle! Things to ponder about, bad movies, and humor with an extra 'u' tossed in free of charge! What's not to like?
