Green Bricks

The Dutch are testing a rather novel idea; concrete bricks that catalyse nitrogen oxide into nitrates. If it works, this could be just the sort of green technology that will a) solve a problem elegantly and b) give the environmentalists fits because it doesn't involve scolding people about their wicked ways and demanding hair shirts for all.

The comments under the article are typical of the "it's all bad" environmental movement.
The bricks will cause "blue baby syndrome". That didn't take long.

They're already geared up for the day someone makes a viable hydrogen powered car too, anything you read about H2 says: and the exhaust is water vapor, which is a greenhouse gas.

It's all bad.

The exhaust is dihydrogen monoxide? Someone clearly wants to see us all dead.
