The one bit looks like a pipe tamper/scraper. I wasn't aware the Romans smoked, since tobacco is a New World plant. (Or were they smoking opium?)

I think I read that the spiky bits were for digging out snails and convincing sauce to come out of bottles. Because just striking the bottles in the side until the sauce flowed would be the kind of thing that the gap-toothed, crossbow-shooting, NAS...chariot-watching plebeians would do.

Probably designed in the Helvetian provinces.
