Look at the fleet of ships! Tankers for refueling the orbiter and lander probably, with some to soft-land the habitat and supplies. (Don't land until the 'return to orbit fuel' tanker soft-lands!!!)
What would have had to happen on earth for THAT future to come to pass?
For those interested, someone is trying to make a movie based on the premise that history actually followed the path outlined in Colliers. The website can be found at http://manconquersspace.com/, Pretty nice, though it has been a work in progress for years.
I want to know how my town can avoid a recession. After my grandfather died I found tons of old Colliers in his basement. Great articles on how to survive the coming war with the Reds.
If I didn't still have them, I wouldn't know how to survive the coming war with the Reds. They're all pretty moldy from the basement so I don't think the value is that high. I've been thinking of scanning them and making them publicly available but I'm a lazy, lazy man.

Not the articles themselves, but a webpage
with photos from Colliers.

You'll need a cbr reader. It's free.
On the Mac I use FFView.
For Windows, there's Comical.

Later maybe.

Bryan... I suppose the magazine are long gone...?
Jay, that was my thought too. If he has the space issues, that's quite a find. might even be very valuable.
