I used to worry there'd be nothing to replace "The Far Side" after Gary Larson retired, but I've since learned to have more faith in academia.
How do you tickle a gorilla?
Very carefully. It seems a rather dangerous form of scientific enlightenment, as a successful tickle usually has an element of surprise, and a surprised ape is a dangerous ape.
