Police sniffer dogs trained to spot terrorists at railway stations may no longer come into contact with Muslim passengers – after complaints that it is against the suspects’ religion.Perhaps the best response to this sort of complaint is that being blown up by Jihadists is against our religion* and that a sense of perspective is in order.
*I trust that I don't have to explain that "our religion" includes all creeds subscribed to by civilised men whether followers of cross or crescent.

They've got a point there, David. We should all be more culturally sensitive. If dogs will only inflame otherwise peaceful people to strap on bombs with nails in them and blow themselves up, perhaps a better solution can be found. For instance, instead of dogs, they can use pigs. Pigs have a better sense of smell anyway, and will detect a Frenchman smuggling in an illegal truffle as well as a terrorist jihadnik with a bomb.
See, we can all coexist if we set our minds to it---it's Just That Easy!
Where is Sir Charles Napier when you need him?
