Here's the new German UAV being deployed by the British police in action.The technology is marvelous, I applaud its use by the armed forces and I seriously want one for myself, but, given given the Ingsoc proclivities of the government, putting this in the hands of the police makes two words spring to mind:
Skeet shoot.

I must say, that near the end (about 30 seconds before), it seems they've already thought of the macinhe's best use.
