So what would you recommend a person do instead if they found out they were being paid less just because of their sex, age, race, or religion?
I would recommend that they not pass legislation that is the equivalent of treating an ingrown toenail by establishing a police state.
I suppose rather than sweeping legislation, going to work someplace else would be out of the question.
If an employee is that valuable a smart company is going to compensate them no matter who or what they are, and if they aren't that valuable I guess they can go cry to the government or the union thugs, or (horrors) go elsewhere.
Everyone seems to forget that jobs belong to the companies that create them, not to the people that occupy them.
