Crossing the line

A quote from Mr Barack Hussein Obama's address to Latino voters  (emphasis added):
And if Latinos sit out the election instead of saying, we're gonna punish our enemies and we're gonna reward our friends who stand with us on issues that are important to us, if they don't see that kind of upsurge in voting in this election, then I think it's gonna be harder — and that's why I think it's so important that people focus on voting on November 2.
The president of the United States just referred to his fellow citizens who fail to support him as "enemies" and threatens to "punish" them?  Oh, dear.

I have a sick feeling that when Mr Obama loses control of Congress and his adoring press start to see him as a liability, a time will come not long after when Barry snaps during a live broadcast and starts uses those two words again in a very angry voice while glaring straight into the camera.  Hope and change, guys.

Update:  More soothing words from Mr Soetoro (emphasis added):
We don’t mind the Republicans joining us. They can come for the ride, but they gotta sit in back.
"Sit in the back"?  I knew that Barry's grasp of history was poor, but for a black American to say something like this is enough to make the shade of Dr King do a spit take.

I expect The One to try to "rule by decree" after November 2, even if the Dems aren't drubbed as badly as they deserve. After all, the American people are not worshiping Him as He deserves, so They Need To Be Taught A Lesson.

He was sold by the media as a Messiah. He tried to rule as Julius Caesar. Now, it looks like He is alternating between being Nero and Caligula.

It will be sort of interesting to see which one wins in the end. Rather like watching a train bearing down on you when you've been tied to the tracks by Snidely Whiplash.

cheers (more or less)

Husseinovich is an ugly little nerd. Petty? why, yes, I happen to think so. If he and Congress manage to keep each other from getting anything done for the next two years, and if the Republicans then come up with a reasonable set of candidates, we may get away without too much permanent damage. I fear that the Iran situation will have been lost by that time, so "too much" is a relative term.

What I've been seeing is the Ds, while in power, have been funding all their least sane projects. Now, the Rs aren't even in power yet, and already they're screaming for their most reactionary likes and hopes. This does not bode well. I have a profound feeling of Slavic optimism.

(update) Husseinovich is a black American like I'm a paisley-colored Turk. He grew up with his upper middle-class grandparents in Hawaii, then made a tour of top-tier academia (thereby tarnishing the brand). The only place he could have gained a visceral response to "sitting in the back" was in Chicago with Rev. Hate-Whitey. But he says that he wasn't paying attention the 20 years he was there.

(I want to make it perfectly clear, because some folks might get the notion that I am engaging in "birtherism", that it is not so. I am only saying that H. Husseinovich's background is simply not the standard black American one. More like the standard over-educated lefty pop commies that I've been encountering ever since grad school. But without the redeeming quality of actually having expertise in something useful like engineering, or medicine, or science.)

Sergej;

I'm not a believer in "birtherism", either (his BC is on file in Hawaii, if anyone's interested), but I really have to say The One brought it on himself. He claimed to be a native Indonesian to get a student grant not available to American born students. He has spent more time overseas than most Embassy Marines. And He did most of his campaigning for POTUS early on outside of the U.S.

That's not even considering His incandescent rage at Americans for disagreeing with Him, on anything. The statement that He will "punish (My) enemies" after November 2 is telling. His definition of "enemies" is restricted to Americans, Britons, and Israelis. Al-Qaeda, etc., are "friends" we are too stupid to realize are such.

If He wants Americans to love Him, ceasing hating them might be a place for Him to start.

cheers (sort of)
