When Engineers Have Pets

That's a lot of work to get out of playing "fetch".

I knew there would be a 1:33, but I thought the robot would do it.

The dog shouldn't load the machine like that, it almost fired while the dog was touching the ball.

There should have been a ball deposit basket and an arm to pick up the ball and load it onto the launcher.

Alternatively, better dog/toddler detection to inhibit the motors.

Toddler + Gearmotor + chaindrive = 911.

If the designer was really mean he'd get a recording of that thing loading and shooting just to watch Sparky run out into the hall and look around like a moron. Oh wait, the kid did just that! Was that other little dog the inventor? Or was he just waiting to get loaded into the thing himself?
Just to freak out the YouTube crowd there should have been a carefully edited shot of a stuffed dog launching into the hall
