Satire Past

A 1970s look at today. The accuracy isn't so much in what the "today's" kids are doing as in the utter reluctance of the Boomers to let go of their sordid youth.

Guess it depends a lot where you live. Here in France, a shaved head (men) is hype and has been for a couple of years now! By the way...happy new year!

At Dave's original point: Granted, that is true. But that's always been true.

Shock! Horror! Older generations dislike what's happening in the future. That's always going to happen. I'm sure that when I'm forty or fifty, I'm going to be shocked and appalled by "these kids today", it's a fact of life. Also, I was tickled by this line:

"You haven't used one four-letter word since we got here!"

Ahah. Ha. Hahahahahaha. Way to miss the mark, methinks.
