I read Brave New World freshman year of highschool. During biology class with Dr. Lahde, though the class itself was interesting enough. I remember thinking that, despite the book's opinion, it wouldn't be so bad if there were a place for everyone, and everyone were in his place. And now, so many years later, I find myself thinking that a life without emotion might not be so bad. Clearly, growing old hasn't brought me much wisdom.

The world After Ford is in some ways very attractive; that's one of the things that makes it so dangerous.

For my own part, I would hate to see man become a domesticated animal.
