Presenting
Clare Lockhart; an overlooked gem of a political satirist who has a gift for capturing perfectly the opaque, jargon-ridden, intellectually-vapid prose of the terminally-insipid quango inmate. How she is able to write a 14 paragraph essay that skewers the amoral, clueless nature of such pompous, self-serving prigs without succumbing to the temptation to throw off the mask and deliver a punchline shows a mastery of subtle parody exceeded only by the late, great Peter Simple.
Brava, Miss Lockhart and keep up the good work. By the time you're done the real members of the Institute for State Effectiveness won't be able to face their own families, much less the general public.
