Only in America

One of those offbeat native art-forms that makes America such a remarkable place to explore: Sculpting in food. Go to any county or state fair in a dairy-producing region of the United States and odds are there will be a booth where you'll find the local Corn Carnival Princess clad in a winter coat and pretending she enjoys freezing her nethers off while her likeness is preserved for eternity-- or until the power fails-- in butter. Why do they do this? I have no idea, but it's still fascinating.

I particularly like the butter cows. It's a bit like Damien Hirst only not disgusting.
