The Mask Slips

A quote from Mayer Hillman, senior fellow emeritus at the Policy Studies Institute regarding global warming:
When the chips are down I think democracy is a less important goal than is the protection of the planet from the death of life, the end of life on it. This has got to be imposed on people whether they like it or not.
It isn't often that the true face of these jumped-up little eco-Stalins is revealed so nakedly.

To hell with him. And to hell with Global Warming. And to the lowest circle of hell with all those "climate change experts" and policy makers who are sitting around in goddamned Bali right now sipping tropical drinks and thinking of ways to take our property and freedom in the name of saving the planet.

I just spent two hours chipping at the ice on my driveway. If they want me to use less energy they can goddamned well come here and chip away the rest of the goddamned ice. Maybe then I'll take them seriously.

Until then, fuck them all with a snow shovel.

You keep saying the Kyoto protocol is bullshit
You keep burning all that fossil fuel
You keep saying we need low gasoline prices
And you say "Screw that stuff called CO2"

We Finns like global warming
yes, that's just what we do
and we don't care a damn if climate
turns too hot for you

We've had climate too cold for reasonable comfort;
We've had snow on five monts ev'ry year;
But soon that snow will come down only on December
in March we can put on the summer gear,

We Finns like global warming
yes, that's just what we do
and we don't care a damn if climate
turns too hot for you

You ponder where all those hurricanes are a-growing
and why the weather is more and more now rain ?
You know the India is about to become 'nother desert
and standing all those heat waves is a pain

We Finns like global warming
yes, that's just what we do
and we don't care a damn if climate
turns too hot for you

We'll have rice and cashew nuts a-growing
and ostriches and citrus fruits we'll farm;
Taiga's gone and instead we will have tropic forests
our weather is soon cosy, nice and warm -

We Finns like global warming
yes, that's just what we do
and we don't care a damn if climate
turns too hot for you

Are you ready climate? Start warming!
