Not everything Gerry Anderson did was brilliant (e.g. Space1999), but at his best, and I think that 'Thunderbirds' was his best, he was magnificent.Like a lot of people, Gerry Anderson's TV programmes were part of my childhood, and now that has passed.Rest in Peace.
