I don't know whether this will be any more effective in drawing me from the arms of Morpheus, but a clock that coughs politely and addresses me as "sir" would no doubt touch my conscience sufficiently to avoid my sending it to join its fellows by hurling the offending timepiece violently against the far wall to shatter into scattered fragments glinting in the feeble traces of dawn's rosy fingers.

Time to Wake Up, Sir
I don't know whether this will be any more effective in drawing me from the arms of Morpheus, but a clock that coughs politely and addresses me as "sir" would no doubt touch my conscience sufficiently to avoid my sending it to join its fellows by hurling the offending timepiece violently against the far wall to shatter into scattered fragments glinting in the feeble traces of dawn's rosy fingers.

"...I believe it is the rotation of the Earth that is to blame, sir."
Utterly brilliant.
Can you point me to some resources for set design so I can learn how to interior decorate like the inside of a spaceship?
I already know about this guy: http://www.24thcid.com/ but I want to do it myself, as a project.
I know nothing about set design.
