Viet Communists build brand new ghost town

The glories of central planning
What if they built a city and nobody came?

  1. To judge from the artist's conception, the Hanoi planners had better stop and read another Atlantic Cities article first. The one titled "Where Does Crime Go After the Projects Are Torn Down?"

The artist's conception looks like a Le Corbusier/Mies/Gropius dream city. And we all know how those end up.

Or at least those of us who paid attention through the last half of C20, anyway. Like Tom "From Bauhaus To Our House" Wolfe.

    cheers
