Dynasphere


I've always loved the dynasphere.  It's one of those absolutely mad inventions that shows that the human spirit will never be defeated.

Though it may be made to look bloody silly.

  2. Mind you, "looking silly" is partly down to hindsight. Compare Dr Purves to Mr Benz, sitting on his rickety tricycle spluttering along the road in a cloud of blue smoke, instead of using a horse and cart like any sensible person...

    Mind you, I'm not saying he doesn't look silly; just that looking silly often turns out to be a harbinger of the future
