    At a convention a long time ago, somebody (Martin Bower, IIRC) told me that the SHADO Moonbase Interceptor design was originally inspired by the Gemini/Agena docking system. Seeing the original concept art, I now see the resemblance.

    I'm hoping the "new" UFO has the same uniform concepts for the ladies as the original did. ;-)

  2. David, another great post! I loved the Eagle as a kid and always wondered how the concept evolved and who the brains behind it were. Thanks for the link to the look back!
