Stating the obvious

They defend the Realm, not MOD pen-pushers.
A senior military adviser says that in the light of declaring war on Libya, Britain's defence cuts are barking mad embarrassing and should be reversed.

Meanwhile, here at EI, we have a modest suggestion of what Mr Cameron could do to improve his standing with the British people.

Update:  Maybe Mr Cameron accepts that this is an option.
