Someone should explain to the Beeb that renaming something isn't the same thing as changing it. Adding a wideboy's previous antics to his record doesn't mean anything when you have no intention whatever of doing anything to dissuade him from continuing to be a pain in society's collective arse.
ReplyDeleteI'll believe that they're "changing" the system when the yobs are afraid to try anything for fear of the consequences. Up to and including their immediate termination by their intended victim(s), preferably with something more emphatic than a kitchen knife with a "safety tip".
