The trail of Roshonara Choudhry was already odd. Having been found guilty of attempting to murder Mr Stephen Timms MP for supporting the 2003 invasion of Iraq, Miss Choudry was allowed to attend her sentencing via a video link because she refused to recognise the authority of the court. Exactly why the judge did not demonstrate that authority by ordering her dragged before him in chains and forced to stand to hear the sentence remains unclear.
Subsequently, three men, whom one suspects are not Presbyterian, disrupted the proceedings by hurling abuse at the judge and a Muslim woman juror before being ejected from the court where they stood in the street screaming "British soldiers must die" and "Death to Timms".
Were they then arrested and charged with contempt of court, disorderly conduct, and incitement to murder?
You don't know modern Britain very well.
