Solving binge drinking

The article is rubbish, but the comments include the best assessment of the binge drinking problem in Britain and how to solve it.

Short version: Go back to shutting down pubs that allow a drunk on the premises, enforce the laws against being drunk and disorderly, and imprison those who commit acts of violence or destruction of property.

  2. Now, now, we can't have the Police enforcing the Law. Where would THAT end eh? Burglars, muggers and the like being banged up inside! Preposterous, the very thought!
