The Levytator

Why do I suspect that when this is put to practical use the results will be extremely annoying?

    It's a new design of escalator that allows for curves. It is not a sure-fire harbinger of Brave New World. I don't understand how you would go from one to the other.

    I do see a problem with this design, though; if one part of the system fails, then both the up and down sections of the escalator stop working.

    Or, rather, they become stairs. So not that much of a problem.
