So some artsy guy put a can of Sterno in a tube and decided it looked neat. "Polar bear-friendly" is the in thing this week, so that's how he decided to market it.
ReplyDeleteYou will admit, mounting a few of these on a wall gives a room that certain 30s serial bad-guy look---the study of Ming T. Merciless or so. Technological level a combination of swords for killing the good guys with, and zap-rays for same, and large oval view-screens for shouting at minions, and naked flames for illumination. Yeh, I could see installing a few of these in my lair...
