Kitchen...of the FUTURE!
Yet another concept piece showing the kitchen of 2015. Never mind the touch cooker and the inexplicable shelving arrangement, I want to know what the rationale for the drop-down oven is–aside from building suspense around when the next gravy shower will be.

Hooray, email on my cooker! It's the FUTURE!
ReplyDeleteIt seems that all that drop-down stuff takes up twice the space of the static counterpart. If only some sort of simple hinged covering could be developed to protect the contents of a shelf cabinet.
I hope the range doesn't download a virus while cooking a chicken, talk about the bird flu.
I'm only bitter because there's no streamlining or lucite
The living room side isn't much better. Bottles of wine directly over the open fire? Or is that the TV in a really stupid position showing a video of a fireplace?
ReplyDeleteNever mind the question how both sides can have full depth cupboards in the same space (or is the panelling moving back on the kitchen side to give access to the stuff above the corresponding shelf in the living room moving out of the wall)?
