ReplyDeleteOne of the latenight comedians said "Buy the premise, buy the bit."
In this story a generation ship is built and sent towards a nearby star system...
And the designers/planners didn't have anything for the crew/passengers/cargo to DO for hundreds of years?
At what point do they know they're in a space ark, and then don't?
But then... maybe they SHOULD'T know that they, their children, and several subsequent generations would die in space.
