  1. I had forgotten how cheesy this movie was.

    It marks the point in Irwin's career where he had used up all of Fox's stock footage and was just recycling all of his own.

    That can be considered either a career high point or a low point.

    I still love it nonetheless.

  2. Oh good lord I remember this. The trouble was I was studying physics and mathematics at the time! Pseudoscience and the twin resources of handwavium and unobtainium combined to produce...
    The "flying sub" should have smashed into a million fragments and killed the crew at the moment of impact!
    Great "B" movie though if you turned the "reality filter" off.
