Is the credit crunch the hammer that will deal the death blow to the As for Britain, all it would take is the political will and an afternoon's work and the nation could be free by dinnertime tomorrow.

Damn that horrible EU, forcing us all to pass legislation against wage slavery, and eat food fit for human consumption, and not have to get a visa to go on holiday! If only it were the good old days, when Britain was British, Germany was Fascist and India suffered from endemic famine!
