  2. I've lived in worse when I was an undergrad. Those geese or albatrosses or petrels or whatever they are in the first pic, give the thing kind of a homey touch, actually.

  3. This just occurred to me: I think that this is a strictly one-man house. Not only because of the space, but because the spherical shape will make the whole damned thing into a whispering gallery.

    Imagine being able to hear your teenaged kid's iPod from across the house. (Yeh, I know, you can pretty much do that with regular square houses.) Now imagine hearing it as if it were plugged directly into your own personal head-bone! Imagine hearing the intestinal bubblings of your entire family, 24-7! Stark staring insanity within the first week of moving in, guaranteed!
