Bah. "In a human lifetime". These people lack imagination. Cryogenics is the least of it. Give me immortality or give me Death!
ReplyDeleteOnce we've got a functional equivalent of a Ndoli Jewel, we'll be de facto immortal and capable of modifying our own time sense enough to make a 1,000 year trip seem instantaneous.
Some people are just determined to be sticks in the mud.
Is it just me or is it more than a little strange that this study has USAF blessing? I'm just saying that they may have a vested interest in distracting attention.
