Heliophone

A solar powered theremin in an Altoids tin; why did we wait so long?

  1. Yeouch! that thing can give a harmonica a run for its money for making annoying noises around the campfire. Except that it would be mercifully silent in the dark.

By the way, isn't a theramin supposed to work on microwaves or something? This annoy-o-tron looks like it just uses the solar panel to charge a capacitor, then tweaks the speaker whenever the capacitor gets over a certain voltage.
