One of the advantages of living in the foothills of the Cascades is that it simplifies planning for a disaster. After all, living in a place where people flee to rather than from eliminates a whole raft of problems because evacuation isn't part of the equation.Mind you, that's assuming that forest fires, nuclear fallout and Martian invasions are off the menu, so I still keep a set of three-day packs in the boot of the Honda just in case the balloon goes up and I have to get the family to Alaska. However, after seeing Campa USA's all-in-one survival system, I may have to "up my game", as the kids say.
