A Damn Fine Cup of Coffee.. And It Better Be

An $11,000 coffee machine.

I'd still rather have a Teasmade.

  1. David, just place a teabag in your coffeemaker where the coffee filter and coffee would normally go.

  2. Won't work, jayessell. Most drip coffee makers won't heat the water enough for black tea (or coffee, for that matter, though that's a different story). Also, after some time, the Teasmade removes the water from the tea leaves to prevent bitter, over-infused tea, doesn't it? If so then that's another strike against the coffee maker idea.

Of course, all this is moot since, as Mr. Szondy is a Brit, I suspect that he ruins his tea by putting milk in it anyway.

(Am from Russia. In Russia, taking the tea very seriously. Not always having vodka around on cold winter night!)

  3. That means what I've been drinking is almost-but-not-completely-unlike-tea.
