Mandatory sedation for all travellers is still being considered, though any form of "profiling" has been rejected as Politically Incorrect and an affront to human liberty.

No offence, but arguing for profiling is simply ignorant. There are Asian/Oriental millitant muslims (China, Thailand, Malaysia) and the Al Queda leader responsible for decentralizing their organization has red hair and pale skin. Additionally, if you ignore one classification of passenger, a terrorist organization can simply recruit (or use) persons of that class and they willl have a better chance of making it through security.
