The Lebanese government, of which Hezbollah is a part, is trying to shake regional stability.Israel is moving into southern Lebanon and calling up the reserves as the IDF continues its offensive in Gaza to free another soldier captured by Hamas.
Hezbollah is discovering the same lesson as Hamas: That rising to political power also is a bit like being a duck in a shooting gallery. It's one thing to hide in the shadows, but when you are or form part of a government, shooting rockets at civilians, attacking check points and kidnapping soldiers are no longer merely crimes; they become a casus belli.
