2. Stay on topic. A bit of straying and off-hand commenting is okay, but hijacking the discussion is right out.
3. No ad hominem attacks. Attack the subject, not the other person on the thread and keep the discussion civil.

A fox is small, but so is a wolverine or a badger. The raccoon which invaded my attic last fall wasn't big, either, but I wasn't about to try to grab him by the scruff of the neck.
ReplyDeleteThe remark about a water pistol surprised me. I thought they'd outlawed them in the UK, as well.
I'd suggest that the est cure for the little beast was a swift kick from a pair of work boots. But the animal-rights people would probably not appreciate the idea.
