Hippies dans l'espace

L'aérodrome de soucoupes volantes
A load of hippies are flocking to Pic de Bugarach in France to be picked up by a flying saucer manned by aliens who don't mind passengers reeking of patchouli oil and stale pot smoke.  Something to do with the end of the world, apparently.

I strongly recommend that the local authorities Google "Heaven's Gate" and keep the coroner on stand-by.

    Another "Great Disappointment" in the making. One can only imagine what will happen when the Great Day arrives, and no motherships do.

    On the plus side, while they're "omm-ing" & etc. there, they aren't OWSing elsewhere. Also, I suspect the French police will not be laboring under admonitions from people like the mayor of San Francisco when these New Age Nits begin breaking windows and "liberating" the contents of various shops.
