ReplyDeleteThis device would appear to be the forerunner of the Moog Synthesizer, which gets my vote for the most overused musical gadget of the 1970s, especially in the soundtracks of SF movies and TV shows.
I wonder, was this fellow by any chance also the inventor of the "solarized" camera shot?
