Revolator

This is what happens after you've ridden the Bubblelator one too many times.

  1. Since I'm old enough to remember the 17 July 1981 Hyatt Regency skywalk collapse in Kansas City, MO, you couldn't pay me enough to get on something like this. Especially when I know it would have been built by the lowest bidder.

  2. Were this to be built... how could it run?

    You'd have to wait until every door on every car was closed before it could move.

    Imagine the hassle of current elevators multiplied 100 times.

  3. This thingy is basically a Paternoster lift scaled up.

    With all the advantages and also disadvantages scaled up as well.

  4. Ironmistress;

    More like a paternoster crossbred with a Ferris wheel. And like that legendary piece of amusement-park equipment, what do you do if it gets stuck?

    Even a lift based on the idea of that little exercise wheel in a hamster cage would make more sense than this thing. Especially if there's a fire.

    cheers
