“Your papers, mein hare!”

Mark Steyn looks at the United States Magician's Rabbits Federal Police.  The quote sums up the insanity:
When the brokest nation in history still thinks it can afford to send federal investigators snooping through the back yards of children’s magicians on the off-chance they might be using rabbits on stage, you’ve got to conclude it actively wants to die.

  1. Dictators don't care how they steal liberty, as long as they are at liberty to steal, or who pays for their theft, as long as they aren't held to account. The current US crop must marvel at how easy it is to implement their schemes in what was the "land of the free and the home of the brave", secure in the knowledge that their subjects are too asleep or too afraid to rise against their tyranny and demand their liberty back.
